TORONTO, NOVEMBER 5, 2025
– Every seat is the best seat, in the 2026 Lexus TX series three-row SUV. Designed with luxury and comfort top of mind, the TX series provides Canadian Guests with a choice of ten distinct model and grade configurations – including six- and seven-passenger cabin configurations and luxury Executive and performance-focussed F SPORT packages. Guest may choose from traditional gasoline or hybrid-electric powertrains, all offering all-wheel-drive confidence, incredible handling, and a remarkable amount of space for people, luggage, and cargo.

“Lexus continues to offer luxury choices for a wide range of lifestyles and needs, and the Lexus TX is the three-row SUV for Guests seeking extraordinary interior space and comfort, plus an unmatched driving experience,” said Martin Gilbert, Director of Lexus Canada. “With plenty of room for everyone – including those in the third row – plus enough space for everyone’s suitcase, the TX is the ideal choice for outings with extended families, or legendary road trips with friends.”

The TX is about more than cabin space – but there’s no denying that its generous interior sets it apart from the rest. This serene sanctuary raises the bar as it caters to comfort and convenience for everyone. In the front seats, a dual-opening console lid conveniently allows the driver and passenger to open the left and right sides independently. In the second row, grade-specific cabin configurations offer a choice of two captain seats with centre console, or a 60:40 split folding three-person bench seat, for six- or seven-person capacity. Access to the third row is made easier with a slide assist walk-in mechanism. Meantime, every TX offers plenty of storage space – including enough room behind the third row for seven carry-on suitcases. And when there’s a need to haul more cargo, the power folding third-row seats can be stowed to open up 57.4 cubic feet of space. Still need more room? Fold the second-row seats and expand the available space to an astonishing 97 cubic feet.

The luxurious cabin is matched by an equally impressive exterior design, which prioritizes aerodynamic performance to enhance efficiency, handling stability, and stress-free driving. The TX features numerous details that express its sophisticated style. For example, its low-set grille forms a seamless spindle shape and a sleek face that enhances aerodynamics, while a narrow aperture beneath the hood’s leading-edge links the headlights. For 2026, a new Matador Red exterior colour is available on the TX 350 Ultra-Luxury and Executive grades.

Lexus engineers built the TX on the GA-K platform. This gives the vehicle optimal weight distribution, a low centre of gravity, and a wide, well-planted stance. The result is a three-row SUV with remarkable driving performance and stability, expressed through modern styling and large wheels. Meantime, TX’s highly rigid body structure minimizes noise, vibration, and harshness so the cabin remains quiet through virtually any driving scenario.

Under the hood, the TX offers two powertrain options to ensure there’s a perfect blend of performance and efficiency for every Guest.

•     The TX 350 features a 2.4L turbocharged inline four-cylinder gas engine, an eight-speed automatic transmission with sequential shift mode, and electronically-controlled full-time all-wheel-drive for refined driving performance. This powertrain generates 275 peak horsepower and up to 317 lb-ft of torque, and a fuel efficiency rating of 11.5 L / 100 km (city/highway combined).

•     The TX 500h takes advantage of a parallel hybrid system built around a 2.4L turbocharged engine and a six-speed automatic transmission with sequential shift mode. All TX hybrid models feature the Lexus DIRECT4 all-wheel-drive system, which employs a force distribution control system to achieve ideal power distribution to the front and rear axles based on wheel speed, acceleration, and steering angle. This configuration produces 366 system horsepower, a peak torque of 409 lb-ft, and a fuel efficiency rating of 8.6 L / 100 km (city/highway combined).

All models feature trail mode, a drive mode select system, and other advanced Lexus handling and control technologies.

Every 2025 TX is impressively equipped with advanced yet intuitive technology features, headlined by the Lexus Interface. This Apple CarPlay and Android Auto-compatible multimedia and connectivity system features a 14-inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth connectivity, and Sirius XM Satellite compatibility. The Lexus Interface incorporates a natural language virtual assistant that enables a voice-first approach to navigation, media, communication, and other vehicle features. In addition, all Lexus Interface connected services may be controlled from a smart phone equipped with the Lexus App.

As a Lexus, every TX is impressively equipped with state of the art safety features, starting with Lexus Safety System + 3.0. This portfolio of active safety technologies supports the driver’s awareness and decision-making under a range of traffic conditions and contingencies. Other standard safety systems include the Blind Spot Monitor System with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, digital latch with Safe Exit Assist, the Rear Seat Reminder system, Intuitive Parking Assist with Auto Braking, a Parking Support Brake system, a back up camera with camera washer, a direct tire pressure monitoring system, and eight airbags.
